A Wallaceburg resident was charged with driving while prohibited after a vehicle was stopped Thursday morning in Sarnia, say Lambton OPP.
Police said officers spotted a vehicle about 7 am on Indian Road, allegedly being driven by a disqualified driver, and made a traffic stop. The 26-year-old driver was arrested and charged with driving while prohibited and driving without insurance, Lambton OPP said.
Police said the vehicle was impounded for 45 days.
At about the same time Thursday, Lambton OPP say a 56-year-old Strathroy-Caradoc resident was arrested and charged with impaired driving following reports of a single-vehicle crash on Nauvoo Road in Brooke-Alvinston.
The driver was taken to the Lambton OPP detachment and administered breath tests.
