(Finance) – The Bank of Italy he communicated that they continue to be spread on the net videos, made with deepfake techniqueswhich artificially reproduce the image and voice of the Governor of the Bank of Italy Fabio Panetta in order to convey and make credible untrue messages with fraudulent intent.
As already communicated on 22 May, Banca d’Italia reiterates that none of these videos have been authorized. Therefore, if you see such content, remember to: be wary of the message; do not follow up on any requests made in the videos; avoid sharing them so as not to contribute to increasing their diffusion.
