The new interim government of Bangladesh has started its work. Officially, the government’s term began when the new prime minister, the official title of chief adviser, Muhammad Yunus took the oath of office.
Yunus is an economic analyst and he received the Nobel Peace Prize in 2006.
A change of government ended in Bangladesh, when large-scale protests broke out in the country in the summer after the unpopular prime minister Sheikh Hasina against. Hasina fled the country to India.
Yunus’s first challenges are stabilizing the country and preparing for new parliamentary elections.
