Massive and deadly floods in Bangladesh. As the country recovers from weeks of harshly repressed protests that led to the ouster of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the interim government of Muhammad Yunus is facing a new crisis. According to preliminary figures, 13 people have died and nearly 190,000 have been taken into emergency shelters. Some 4.5 million people are affected by the floods caused by torrential rains.
