Bandy: Villa Lidköping to the semi-finals after the 17-year-old’s first goal

Villa Lidköping did what everyone expected when they made it to the semi-finals with three straight wins.

In today’s home match against Gripen from Trollhättan, the 37-year-old big star Christoffer Edlund was faithful to his habit for several goals, but the biggest joy was after 17-year-old Alfred Malm made it 6-1 just before the break.

More or less the whole team embraced the gridiron midfielder after the goal.

The match ended 8-2 after the score was 7-1 at halftime.

– In the first half, we play very well overall. But in others, it’s just like rejection from our side, says Sixtensson.

In the evening’s second quarter-final, Sirius won at home against Vetlanda with 3-0 and now leads the quarter-final series with 2-1 in matches. This means that the Uppsala team can secure promotion in the next match, which is on Monday.
