Bandy: Bollnäs kept the eight minutes that were played clear tonight

After the grandstand accident last night in Bollnäs, the Swedish Bandy Association decided that the last eight minutes would be played – now with Edsbyn as the home team and without an audience.

Edsbyn had a couple of half-chances but there were no goals.

– It was a difficult event for everyone involved, but we have been affected by it, more than Bollnäs has. We abide by the decisions made and gave it a chance. We created some chances, says Edsbyn’s Per Hellmyrs to Bandypul’s live broadcast.

Geographical reasons why Edsbyn was the home team

Bollnäs won and now has 2-1 in the quarter-final series with the next match in Edsbyn tomorrow evening.

– It was special, but we go in and do what we have to do one hundred percent. If it doesn’t work out tomorrow, we’ll have an extra home game, says Bollnäs’ Oskar Westh

When the Swedish Bandy Association made a decision regarding the match this morning, geographical reasons were given for moving it from Bollnäs to Edsbyn.

“The decision has been made with regard to the geographical location of the law,” wrote the association.
