In November, Acta Publica released a report examining how the Bandidos – in the shadow of other criminal networks – blow up, extort, deal in drugs and carry out acts of violence with a fatal outcome.
The report highlights several examples of how the organization can be linked to the serious wave of violence. Acta Publica also makes the assessment that “Bandidos are on the rise in Sweden”.
In a new one status report writes the research company that the latest quarter’s development confirms what has already been determined – and that Bandido’s role within the network environment and drug trafficking is becoming increasingly clear.
Have taken the gang war to Norway
According to the report, the phalanx Bandidos MC Trestad has a central role in drug smuggling to Norway and the club’s business has led to the Swedish gang war spreading there.
Acta Publica highlights a shooting in Norwegian Moss in November where a person, who is said to be closely linked to Rawa “Kurdish Fox” Majid, was injured. According to Acta’s sources, one of the suspects in the shooting is a so-called “prospect” in the Bandidos.
The research company states that some Bandidos members have previously cooperated with Foxtrot, but now states that the two groups are enemies.
“Therefore, the Bandidos are in need of new alliances,” writes the research company.
Risk of escalation of violence
Already now, the motorcycle club is believed to have allied itself with Black Cobra Sweden, which is seen as a smaller criminal network.
“This fact means that the Bandidos should prepare for even more involvement in conflicts. There is a risk that the Bandidos will take a more active role in current conflicts, which in that case will likely lead to an escalation of violence in both Sweden and Norway,” writes Acta Publica.
“The spring can be violent within the criminal motorcycle environments and there is a high risk that serious acts of violence will be carried out where people within the motorcycle gangs are either perpetrators or victims.”
