Banca Generali green light from Consob and Bankitalia for a

(Finance) – Green light from Consob and the Bank of Italy for the voluntary public takeover offer of Generali Bank on the ordinary shares of Intermonte: the membership period will start next December 23rd until January 24th.

We read it in a press release from Banca Generali in which it explains “the fulfillment of the condition relating to the authorization by the Bank of Italy” and “the approval by Consob of the offer document”, with “the publication of the offer document”.

“We are in the authorization process. We hope to receive the green light by December”, hoped Gian Maria Mossa, CEO of Banca Generali, on the sidelines of an event in Milan at the beginning of the month. “Clearly it was a choice to support our entrepreneurs even more. – added the CEO, explaining the rationale for the operation – We have a portfolio of great entrepreneurs who today entrust us with their assets and who in some way ask us to accompanying them in this process of strengthening their capital Intermonte is one of the solutions we could propose”.
