Banca Carige all directors resign

(Finance) – Banca Carige announces that, today, all the members of the Board of Directors have resigned unconditional and irrevocable from the office of Director, with effect from the date of the ordinary Shareholders’ Meeting already called for June 15, 2022 for the appointment of the new Administrative Body.

The resignations of the members of the Board of Directors have been made in the context of the execution of the contract for the sale of the controlling interest in the share capital of the Bank by the Interbank Deposit Protection Fund and the Voluntary Intervention Scheme of the FITD to BPER Banca, in light of some agreements strictly functional to the execution of the operation.

To the best of the bank’s knowledge, the Deputy Chairman Paolo Ravà holds 3,084 shares of the Bank, while none of the other resigning members of the Board of Directors holds stakes in the share capital; none of the resigning members of the Board of Directors are entitled to indemnity or other benefits following the cessation of office.
