This weekend a critic visited the State Opera in Hanover, Germany to review the premiere of “Glaube – Liebe – Hoffnung” by Marco Goecke.
The woman gave such bad reviews that she made Goecke see red. The ballet director went on the attack, smearing his dog’s feces on her face, in the middle of the intermission of the set. Something that attracted a lot of attention and led to a cultural debate.
The act was reported to the police and Marco Goecke has now been suspended. He tried to defend the act by telling how he endured several years of slander from the person in question.
That’s what TV4’s foreign reporter Jona Källgren tells us, who explains what really happened.
