Overheul’s own work is also on display in the gallery. The artist is often concerned with equality, emancipation and feminism. “If you want to denounce major themes, you can go on and on, but you can also present it in a fun way. If you secretly put quite serious art in a ball pit, that works absurdly, but it also lowers the threshold to go to to enter.”
