Patch 7 brings new endings and a thousand changes for Baldur’s Gate 3

Why is the patch eagerly awaited? The update was supposed to be released officially on July 22nd, but after problems, Patch 7 was pushed back further. The developers have been working on the patch since April. The developers explained in advance that they wanted to completely overhaul the game with the patch:

  • For one thing, there are new evil endings that they want to add with Patch 7.
  • In addition, more than 1,000 changes that Patch 7 will bring have been announced.
  • Other changes include an internal mod manager and improvements to the split screen on one monitor.
  • Honor Mode is being redesigned and improved. Some enemies now have new abilities that will make the fights more challenging.
  • Many players are therefore waiting for Update 7 to either start over or finally continue playing. Some even believe that they will have to play the game again once all the changes are live.
