Baldurs Gate 3 release date revealed

Baldur’s Gate 3 release date has been announced and it’s coming to PlayStation 5.

At today’s State of Play event, Larian Studios announced that Baldur’s Gate 3 will also launch for the PlayStation 5. A new trailer has also been released, offering a first look at General Ketheric Thorm, the main character of the next-gen RPG. The trailer also showed a few details about the game, such as two-player on-screen, four-player online play on PS5, and game controller support.

Baldur’s Gate 3 release date and Collector’s Edition detailed

The game’s release date is set for August 31, and it will also be released for PC and Xbox on that date. Also shown are the Deluxe Edition and the Collector’s Edition, and the Collector’s Edition looks really cool. Currently, early access players have been automatically upgraded to Baldur’s Gate 3 Deluxe Edition, including anyone who bought the game now and on release date.

The Deluxe Edition includes: Playable Bard Song Pack featuring songs from Divinity: Original Sin 2, in-game dice skin, materials inside Adventurer’s Pouch, Baldur’s Gate 3 original soundtrack, digital downloads of artbook and character sheets, and Baldur’s Gate starting August 28 72 hour early access of 3 Act I.

There’s also an item pack inspired by Divinity: Original Sin 2. This pack includes Mask of the Shapeshifter, inspired by Fane, Cape of the Red Prince inspired by Red Prince, playable Lute of the Merryweather Bard inspired by Lohse, Needle of the Outlaw inspired by Sebille, which allows you to instantly change race and appearance. Rogue includes a series of Beast-inspired images from Bicorne of the Sea Beast and Forgotten Realms.

The Collector’s Edition, on the other hand, is pretty cool and for $260 includes:
