The 27th annual DICE Awards took place last night, celebrating some of the best games we’ve seen in the past year. While various awards were distributed in different categories at the ceremony, DICE was the most appreciated. Awards Game of the Year award was given to Baldur’s Gate 3. Larian Studios’ epic role-playing game (RPG) also won outstanding achievement awards for story, game direction, game design, and role-playing game of the year.

Larian Studios’ dungeons-and-dragons-inspired RPG took home an impressive number of trophies last awards season, winning Game of the Year at The Game Awards. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 was another big winner during DICE. Awards last night. The superhero adventure took home six major awards, including outstanding achievement in animation, outstanding achievement in musical composition and outstanding achievement in character. It was a well-deserved success for the action game, which failed to win a single award at The Game Awards after being nominated in seven different categories.
