Baldur’s Gate 3 level cap increased to 12
Alongside the change to Baldur’s Gate 3’s release date and new class information, Larian Studios has announced a few different things players can expect from the upcoming game. One of the biggest announcements is that the game will have a new level cap two levels higher. “We originally planned for Level 10 to be the highest character level in the game,” the developers wrote, noting that “too many high-level spells would be left out of reach if we did.”
Instead of depriving us of said rad spells, the Baldur’s Gate 3 team decided to allow players to “reach Level 12 by unlocking Planar Allies, Otto’s Irresistible Dance, and Chain Lightning.”
