The weekend format is classic, no sprint race on the program but three free practice sessions followed by qualifying in three stages (Q1 with 20 drivers, Q2 with the 16 best from Q1 and Q3 with the 10 best from Q2) Saturday and race Sunday. The Bahrain Grand Prix marks the start of the 2023 Formula 1 season and takes place from Friday March 3, 2023 to Sunday March 5, 2023. Find the complete GP program with times in French time.

  • Friday March 3, 2023: free practice 1 at 12:30 p.m., free practice 2 at 4 p.m.
  • Saturday March 4, 2023: free practice 3 at 12.30 p.m., qualifying at 4 p.m.
  • Sunday March 5, 2023: start of the race at 4 p.m.

Good news for all Formula 1 fans, for the start of the season the Bahrain GP will broadcast in full and unencrypted on Canal + antennas, here are all the Grand Prix schedules. The times indicated are those of the broadcast announced by Canal + which begins its broadcasts a few minutes before the actual start of the practice sessions and the race.

The 2023 Bahrain Grand Prix TV program on Canal +:
