Stockholm derby begins • Hävelid makes debut in Djurgården • Tonight’s matches
So far, Djurgården and AIK have won one match each in the season’s two played Stockholm derbies.
Djurgården goes up in the league with three points tonight. Mattias Hävelid makes his debut in Djurgården after being quickly recruited from Linköping. He gets a super chance right away, and is set up in the first back pair with Colby Sissons.
– It has gone quite quickly. I found out yesterday that it was done and that I was going here, so since then it’s been a bit stressful. But I have gathered my thoughts and am ready for the match, says Mattias Hävelid to TV4 before the match.
AIK takes the lead in the derby
AIK, who are eighth in the table, want to continue to close in on the teams above them, and keep their good form. AIK have six wins in the last seven matches.
In Wednesday’s derby, it is AIK who take the lead through a shot in the crossbar by Daniel Muzito Bagenda.

– AIK sets the tone here in the power play, with lively and fast passing play. It’s a very quick wrist shot by Bagenda, says TV4’s expert Fredrik Söderström.
