“As regards mortgage installments, here too there has already been authorization for the deferral of mortgage installments in the same way as we will do with regard to other tax aspects. Everything concerning financial aspects is monitored, there is a basic understanding and this will be implemented”.
The Minister of Labor Calderone underlined that “our goal is to secure jobs and companies and workers in the territories affected by the events we are talking about. It will be necessary to carefully check the realities affected by the flood of these days and above all to prepare the tools to accompany the path of the next few months including a certain attention to the fulfilments in terms of labor and contributions and above all the payments of social security and welfare contributions”. “We will look at the needs of agricultural work above all for the part of the agricultural workforce that works on a fixed-term basis and needs to be supported in order to have the right to interventions that may have an outlet in the coming years”, added the minister.
“We work to secure companies by giving the possibility of deferring the deadlines for the fulfillment of labour, social security matters and above all also to defer the deadline for the payment of social security and welfare contributions”, added Calderone. “This requires a careful reconnaissance not only of the territories but also of the companies, of the types of economic realities that are interested in order to be specific and go on to identify and clearly outline the interventions within the decree”.
