Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta and founder of Facebook, published a post from his Facebook account. Zuckerberg warned users who took screenshots of their chats with this post.
NOTIFICATION WHEN A SCREENSHOT IS TAKEN
In the post he shared, Zuckerberg talked about a new update to Messenger. The famous name said that the user will receive a notification when a screenshot of a disappearing message is taken. Zuckerberg also shared a screenshot to explain exactly what this feature looks like.
Sharing a screenshot of a conversation with his wife, Priscilla Chan, Zuckerberg said, “Thanks to the new update for end-to-end encrypted Messenger chats, if someone takes a screenshot of a disappearing message, you will receive a notification.” In the image in question, a notification appeared that Chan had taken a screenshot.
In addition, Zuckerberg added, “We’re also adding GIFs, stickers, and reactions to encrypted chats.”
