Bad news for Oliwer Kaske in the Swedish hockey league

HV71 defender Oliwer Kaski has to undergo surgery.

Playing in HV71’s shirt in the Swedish ice hockey league SHL Oliver Kasken the season is probably over. The club tells about it on their website.

Kaski suffered an upper body injury in the opening game of the season against Växjö Lakers, which has now been determined to require surgical treatment.

– We have tried to rehabilitate the injury, but it has been clear for some time that surgery is necessary, HV71 doctor Jonas Kalman told.

29-year-old Kaski is now representing HV71 in his third season. In the national team, Kaski is remembered for the 2019 world champion team.

Last season, Kaski collected 8+12=20 performances in the 39 regular season matches he played in Sweden.
