Eide made evaluations to the Norwegian press regarding the ICC’s application for an “arrest warrant” for Netanyahu and Gallant. Pointing out that they would have to arrest Netanyahu and Gallant if an arrest warrant is issued by the ICC and they come to Norwegian territory, Eide said that the same procedure would apply to the ICC’s arrest warrant against them. He stated that the decision would also apply to the Hamas leader who applied for it.
Eide noted that the same practice applies to other European countries.
