THE baccalaureate calendar 2024 will be modified. Terminale high school students who had passed their specialty exams in March are numerous to have deserted the classrooms at the end of the year, according to certain professors. Indeed, continuous assessment counts for 40% of the final grade. And depending on the success of the specialty tests that took place in March, some already knew that they would obtain the baccalaureate diploma, even if they had to miss the written tests organized in June, in particular the Grand oral or the test of…. philosophy.
The events staggered in June to fight against absenteeism at the end of the year
For to fight against this absenteeism, Emmanuel Macron wishes to postpone the baccalaureate specialty tests to Juneaccording to information from Parisian.
In an interview with the newspaper Le Point, published on August 23, Emmanuel Macron had indeed declared that“we can’t have events so early in the year”. “The Minister in the coming days will announce the adjustments that we will decide on this subject. No change in the coefficient of the tests
