The Minister of Education Jean-Michel Blanquer then announced the following: he was going to consult the representative organizations, to see if it was “opportune” to whether or not to postpone the baccalaureate specialty tests to June, initially scheduled for March 14 to 16. However, the current calendar makes it possible to transfer the marks for these tests, which account for 32% of the new baccalaureate, to the Parcoursup platform.
The file is on the table, and the official decision awaited. To decide, Jean-Michel Blanquer should consult the National Council for High School Life in video, Wednesday January 19. If they are postponed, the baccalaureate specialty tests could be postponed in June, but also in April or May. What about other scenarios? On January 14 on franceinfo, the Minister of Education ruled out the hypothesis of the substitution of these tests by continuous assessment. The other B plans could be to keep the best mark (between that of the test and the average of the reports) as was the case for the test of philosophy last year; to split the number of subjects…, etc.
If the specialty tests were postponed to June, the big difficulty would be that the specialty teachers are then already taken by the Grand Oral. According to a source familiar with the file reported by the JDD, “When we look at the June calendar, we can see that we can only postpone these events by questioning the great Oral. Le Snes [syndicat majoritaire chez les enseignants du second degré] try to get the skin new bin. Jean-Michel Blanquer will have to play tight if he wants to save his reform without sacrificing his political future.” In any case, the Minister of Education will have to send his decision to teachers, high school students and parents before the February school holidays, which start on February 5 in zone B.
Focus on the 2022 baccalaureate exams
Revisions of the baccalaureate are in the minds… In 2022, the final exams of the general and technological baccalaureate take place from Wednesday 15 June to Friday 1 July, those of the professional baccalaureate between May 23 and June 24, 2022. As specified by the Ministry of Education on his site, “The baccalaureate diploma is issued, in the general and in the technological path, in view of the results obtained by the candidate, on the one hand in final tests which represent 60% of his overall mark, and on the other hand to the assessments organized during his schooling in first and final classes as part of a continuous assessment which represents 40% of his overall mark. As a reminder concerning the previous edition of the baccalaureate, nearly 94% of the 732,800 candidates for the 2021 baccalaureate passed the exam at the end of the first remedial session. A slight decrease compared to 2020.

The dates of the 2022 general and technological baccalaureate exams are spread out in theory between March 14 and July 1, 2022. The tests which relate to the two specialty courses take place a priori from March 14 to 16, but could be postponed to June. The philosophy test takes place on June 15, and that of the grand oral, between June 20 and July 1. As for the vocational baccalaureate exams, they must take place between May 23 and June 24, 2022.

As specified by the ministry in their press release of September 30, “The ministries wished to ensure the consistency and complementarity of the calendar of final baccalaureate examinations with that of the Parcoursup procedure, so as to allow educational teams and students to organize in a serene way the work over the whole of the school year”.
The date of the results of the general, technological and professional baccalaureate 2022 is scheduled from Tuesday, July 5.

Warning ! The names of candidates who failed the first session or who were subject to resit are available only on an individual basis. Each candidate must expressly authorize at the beginning of the year the publication of his name in the list of admitted via a signed document, to appear in these results. The schools to which each candidate belongs are no longer made public by the ministry since 2012.
The result of the technological baccalaureate is available for consultation the same day as the results of the technological baccalaureate and the professional baccalaureate, in the display center or on resultat.siec.education.fr . During the previous edition of the baccalaureate, students in these sectors were able to read the verdict on July 6.
Each year, the results of the Bac Pro exam are available for consultation in the posting center indicated by the convocation of the pupils concerned, on which is also indicated the date of publication of the results. They also have the possibility of knowing their results for free via the internet on resultat.siec.education.fr. But in any case, they have to go to the deliberation center displaying the results to retrieve the transcript, to be kept. Candidates for the bac pro may also have to collect this transcript from their training establishment, if their head of establishment specifies it.
The results of the anticipated tests of the French baccalaureate are communicated in the first half of July. Their publication schedules are sometimes given on the websites of the various academies. Candidates can view their result online on their academy’s website by logging in with their personal ID. They also receive their transcripts by mail a few days later. Officially called “second group events”, the remedial process is intended to all candidates whose average is between 8 and 9.99/20 at the end of the first session of the baccalaureate. Each candidate must choose two tests to retake to recover a maximum of points, at the same coefficient as in mid-June. The students submitted to the remedial session are fixed at the beginning of the week following the results of the baccalaureate, the repechages taking place in the days following the result of the 1st group. The precise dates and times of the remedial orals are traditionally communicated to the candidate at his place of examination, after having chosen the subjects to be retaken.
The 2022 baccalaureate remedial orals are taking place from Wednesday 6 to Friday 8 July 2022.
The results of the baccalaureate for the second group (following the remedial orals) are available the same afternoon of the day of the orals.
