Baby pram: which one to choose?

Baby pram which one to choose

At birth, the pram is ideal for walking baby while ensuring comfort and safety. Find our selection of the best prams.

In his first months, when baby will be taken for a walk in a stroller, he will need a comfortable vehicle. This is where the pram comes in! As, up to about 6 months, the lying position is strongly recommended, your child can be installed in this way. The modern pram no longer looks like the ones you can see in our old family photos: it looks like a real stroller. It is quite normal, since it is in one! On the other hand, it offers a carrycot and/or a hammock that can be laid completely flat. It’s even better if it can be placed facing the parent, in order to keep an eye on the little one. However, as with a birth stroller, the price of a pram can put parents off, especially when they think they will have to buy another stroller when their child grows up. The designers have thought of everything, with combined prams, also called 2-in-1 or 3-in-1 strollers. In the first case, there is a chassis with a carrycot and a hammock. In the second, we add to this a birth car seat which can be fixed on the frame, in order to easily pass from the car to the stroller. After making sure that the pram is perfect for your child’s comfort and that it includes essential accessories (storage basket and canopy, in particular), think about your comfort, the parent. The stroller must be easy to handle and adapted to your lifestyle: we do not choose one that is too wide if we live in a big city and we prefer a model with large wheels if we live in the countryside. The fact that the handlebars or grips are height adjustable is also a big plus! Find our selection of the best prams for your baby.
