When two-month-old Hanna was supposed to visit the childcare center on Monday, the bus trip ended at the emergency room instead. Scratches and a large bump on the head were the result of Hanna’s accident.
Her two-year-old sister, who was in the same double carriage, also fell over, but fared better. Linn Johansson has reported the incident to the police.
– I feel that it is an important marking. It must not continue. They haven’t seen a mother’s wrath until now, she says.
Uday Almousa was also sitting next to the pram on the bus. He helped her and confirms Linn Johansson’s story. He also found no straps to fasten the cart.
– It’s very strange and it was really terrible actually.
Skellefteå Bus: “Didn’t drive too fast”
Skellefteå Bus has looked at a video that was recorded in the bus of the incident and checked the trip computer. According to them, the driver was not driving too fast or recklessly.
Skellefteå bus says that there were certainly ways to attach the pram to the bus. Not straps, but a belt.
– We are now investigating whether it is possible to supplement with extra protection or equipment, says Jens Mårtensson, communications manager at Skellefteå Buss.
Invited to call
But in connection with SVT visiting the family, Linn Johansson receives a call from the Skellefteå bus. They invite her to visit and talk.
– They admit that the fasteners can be difficult to find on the bus. And then they want to meet me so that this can’t happen again, she says.
