Burkhard Garweg was arrested by German police on Tuesday evening.
He belonged to the infamous Red Army Faction (RAF), also known as the Baader-Meinhofligan. The group spread terror in West Germany in the 70s and 80s with everything from explosions to murder.
After his time in the Baader-Meinhofligan, Garweg is suspected of having been involved in several cash-in-transit robberies.
