Azarkan came on after 73 minutes against RKC Waalwijk (1-1) on Saturday and collided hard with RKC player Aaron Meijers during his first action. He then lay motionless on the field. After lengthy treatment, he was carried off the field on a stretcher. He was then immediately taken to hospital for further examination.
