Three years after the release of his first album sonjethe singer Asaphe Micaelle Jean-Louis, Az of her artist name, returns with By love. It’s a jazzy 13-track album that talks about love as a source of life and hope.

Graduated in Philosophy from the École Normale Supérieure in Haiti, Asaphe Micaelle Jean-Louis has always shared her life between her studies and music. Singing, in particular, is for her a vital act. She sings to dream, to stay alive, but also to create and transform.

In March 2019, after settling in Canada, the young mother of an adorable little boy, released her first album titled sonje. It was a superb jazz album that had everything to win the hearts of music lovers. But the jazz singer, upset by her change of environment, did not know how to promote her album which could have been a huge success.

Az returns this year with By love, a 13-track album that once again proves that the Haitian jazz singer is of rare talent. Each music on this opus offers a unique experience made of chills and palpitations.
