The usual walk along the quay next to the river in Gothenburg immediately took on a new meaning for Axel Hallén when he saw something skimming across the surface of the water.
– It was quite powerful. I saw it out of the corner of my eye and thought it was a bird or something, then it jumped up and I saw a tail fin, he says and continues:
– It appeared and came up again, as you see on film.
And the experience with the porpoise made it onto Hallén’s top three list of the most powerful animal experiences.
– It gets plus points because I saw it in my home environment. The Gothenburger in me wants to say that it was dizzying, he says and laughs.
