In the open world of Dragon’s Dogma 2, players encounter seemingly insurmountable obstacles. One of them used a powerful move that allowed him to jump off a cliff without dying.
High cliffs and deep waters sometimes require players to find other ways to reach their destination in Dragon’s Dogma 2. Some run around the obstacles, others use huge enemies as a bridge.
A player presents his approach on X (formerly Twitter) on March 27th and impresses the community. Thanks to his career as a magic archer, he has a powerful move at his disposal, but for which he briefly has to sacrifice a companion.

How did he do that? In his video, the player shows how he grabs his companion and throws him over a high cliff. This naturally dies when it hits the ground. However, thanks to his career as a magic archer, the player can revive her with a magical arrow (“Recovery Arrow”).
When she’s back on her feet, the player jumps off the high cliff – and lands safely in her arms. The companion comments with “It’s good that I was standing here, right?”

This is what the community says about it: The video has so far collected around 10,000 likes and over 785,000 views (as of March 28, 6 p.m.). One user writes that he found this out as soon as he unlocked the magic archer. But he feels guilty if he does that to his companions.
Someone comments: “The smartest thing I’ve seen so far” And one user writes: “Such a great game. I haven’t played anything else since it was released.” Other users seem surprised and ask: “They’re catching you???”
The vassals have quite useful skills and support the players in more than just combat. However, they also gossip like real people and tell others about your secrets.
How do I unlock the career? The magic archer career is only available to the Awakened and therefore cannot be used for vassals. The archer shoots magical arrows from a safe distance to deal damage or heal companions.
