The police, ambulance and emergency services in Stockholm County have received this year’s 112 award for their efforts in connection with the accident with the Jetline roller coaster at Gröna Lund this summer.

“Their effort was both efficient and well-functioning in a very pressured and complicated situation. An achievement that shows proof of exemplary cooperation and cooperation between the various bodies”, writes SOS Alarm, which awards the award, in a press release.

It was at lunchtime on June 25 that Greater Stockholm’s fire service, Södertörn’s fire service association, the ambulance service and the police were alerted to the accident.

“On the way to the accident site, they received information that several people were seriously injured and that there would be a complicated rescue operation,” the press release states.
