At the 2020 Emmys where Ron Cephas Jones received his last Emmy statuette, his daughter Jasmine received her first Emmy for her performance in the comedy series “Freerayshawn”. It made them historic as the first father-daughter duo to receive an award at the gala.
Ron Cephas Jones suffered from lung problems for a long time. He was 66 years old.
