School children’s menus are getting tough under pressure to save
The greatly increased price of food may soon be seen on schoolchildren’s plates as well. Several food manufacturers have had to ask their municipalities for more money in order to make food of sufficient quality.
There may also be a saving curve ahead. According to the director of food services in Helsinki, one option could be to reduce meat in meat dishes.
The rapid rise in prices may continue next year as well
