Denmark is voting to join EU defense cooperation
Denmark has remained outside EU defense cooperation for thirty years. NATO membership and cooperation with the United States has been sufficient so far. Following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the Danish Prime Minister considered that joining EU defense co-operation would also be beneficial. A majority of Danes are in favor of joining, and a referendum will be held today.

According to a survey of professionals working with children, up to 44 per cent find it difficult to identify mental violence against children. Children often have a need to protect their parents. Therefore, the child may not want to report experiences of mental violence. However, identification is important.

Municipalities strive to address the shortage of social and health workers through various reward schemes. When employees are difficult to get, they need to be rewarded in some way. Rewards are usually fixed-term. In the best case scenario, the commitment fee could also prevent or at least reduce mass redundancies.
