A wide area of low pressure arrives from the west, bringing heavy rains and milder air. In the south, however, rainfall is mostly low. Central and Northern Lapland can get heavy snow in some places, up to 5-10 cm. In the south and west, daytime temperatures generally rise above 10 degrees.
