Niinistö and Marin share their NATO position today
Today, Finland is the focus of international attention when the President of the Republic Sauli Niinistö and the Prime Minister Sanna Marin (sd.) set out their NATO position in a joint bulletin. According to the President’s Office, the press release will be published at 10 a.m. Political scientists expect a clear message from the Prime Minister and the President that Finland should apply for NATO membership.
Russia could make such hybrid attacks on Finland

The large consumer visits occupational health services up to 60 times a year
Research from the University of Tampere provides new information on large consumers of occupational health care. The study defined a large consumer as a person who visits an occupational health at least eight times a year. Some individuals had visits for up to 60 years. The same people also visit other health services and are at risk of becoming incapacitated. Typical diagnoses are musculoskeletal disorders and mental disorders.
The Rasmus will compete for a place in the Eurovision final
The Rasmus will compete in the Eurovision semi-finals tonight for a place in Saturday’s visa final. The band represents Finland with the song Jezebel. The second semi-final will be played today at 10 pm on TV1, Areena and .fi. On Tuesday, the first visa semi-final was held in Turin, Italy, which was followed by, among others, the pre-favorite Ukraine.
The weather continues to be volatile
On Thursday, the weather front and associated intermittent rains will move east across the southern and central parts of the country. It is wetter in the north and partly sunny in Lapland. In sunny areas 15 degrees can break, the warmest is in southwestern Lapland. Going towards the night, the showers weaken and the night is rainy and partly clear.
