The price of anticancer medicine plummeted
In April, the price of the anticancer drug lenalidomide was odd, when its price plummeted by as much as 98 percent. Kela’s researchers estimate that the transition to this single drug from the reference price system could save Finland up to EUR 40 million.
However, pharmaceutical costs are expected to continue to rise in the big picture. Savings are sought, in particular, from the wider use of biological copying drugs, ie biosimilars.
The reporting channel is already in use in dozens of companies
A mandatory reporting channel based on the EU directive is coming to all companies with at least 50 employees. A law on the matter is being prepared and will not be submitted to Parliament until the autumn. In many companies, the reporting channel has already been introduced on a voluntary basis.

In China, residents of millions of cities are almost forced to take an interest rate test every few days. This raises local fuss, but some are also worth the tests. Only a handful of infections are now detected in large cities on a daily basis. The demolition of severe closures has only recently begun.
