Awak Kuier continues his games in Italy, but a new club can be found in Venice. Kuier gets to play the Eurocup in the ranks of Umana Reyer.

Kuier, like many other WNBA basketball players, will be coming to Europe for the winter. Prior to Umana Reyer, Kuier played in the ranks of Ragusa in Italy.
Unlike Ragusa, Kuier’s new club, Umana Reyer, will be in next season’s Eurocup. The team advanced to the semi-finals of the Italian Serie A last season.
– This is one step forward in my career. I get to play the Eurocup, which is a degree tougher than the Italian league. I’m really excited and I can’t wait to get there to play, Kuier comments.
– I really liked Ragusa, but I wanted a tougher league. That was really important to me. It felt like now was the time to leave.
The season in Europe begins in the fall. Before that, Kuier will play for the end of the WNBA season in the United States on the Dallas Wings team.
