(Finance) – Aviationa company listed on Euronext STAR Milan and active in the creation and development of space launchers and propulsion systems, announced that the Independent Commission of Inquiry responsible for analyzing the results of the static ignition test of the launcher’s Zefiro 40 engine Vega-Cwhich took place on June 28, 2023, will share its results Monday 2 October 2023 at 12.30 CEST during an online briefing with the media, preceded by a press release from ESA and Avio itself.
The next Vega launch is scheduled for Friday 6 October 2023 at 10.36pm. local time (October 7, 01:36 UTC), from the European spaceport in French Guiana. The mission, called VV23, will place a THEOS-2 main satellite, a second FORMOSAT-7R/TRITON satellite and ten auxiliary satellites carried on the innovative Small Spacecraft Mission Service (SSMS) deployment system into sun-synchronous orbit.
