(Finance) – The postponement of the first launch of the new European Ariane 6 rocket to 2024, following a recent incomplete ground test, does not depend on Airplane but from other suppliers, although the Colleferro company could have an impact on accelerating the production of the P120 engine. The analysts of Intesa Sanpaolo in a note, following some statements by the director general of the European Space Agency (ESA), Josef Aschbacher.
A part of the last test carried out on July 18, which included a short hot start of the Vulcain 2.1 engine, has not been completed and has been postponed to August 29, ESA said last week, explaining that 90% of the July targets have been met and further tests are planned in September.

Intesa analysts recalled that Avio is the supplier for Ariane 6 of the P120 engine, which has been successfully tested.
