After facing Loki, they must now thwart the plans of Ultron, an artificial intelligence robot who threatens to destroy humanity. Difficult to recognize at first glance the actor who embodies, in motion capture, the big bad of this episode. In Avengers: Age of Ultron, it’s James Spader which lends its features to the formidable robot.
Fans of American series remember him easily: he played Alan Shore in The Practice: Donell and Associates and 2003, a role he resumed the following year in Boston Justice. He is also the boss of Dunder Mifflin Robert California in The Office. Since 2013, it is in the main role of Blacklist, Raymond “Red” Reddington, that he officiates. James Spader also has several film roles to his credit, since we could see him in Oliver Stone’s Wall Street in 1987, Steven Soderbergh’s Sex, Lies and Video in 1989, Roland Emmerich’s Stargate in 1994 or Crash. by David Cronenberg in 1996. Avengers: Age of Ultron was the last film he starred in.
Synopsis – The superheroes Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye must once again join forces in order to prevent the terrible Ultron from eradicating the human species. A race against time then begins, while Tony Stark still aims to relaunch a peacekeeping program, and unexpected alliances will soon be implemented. In this continuation of the adventures of the “Avengers”, Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Jeremy Renner, Chris Hemsworth and Scarlett Johansson are joined by James Spader as Ultron, and two other big baddies make an appearance: Wanda Maximoff and Vision.
