(Finance) – At the headquarters of the Milan Stock Exchangein Piazza degli Affari, the award ceremony took placeEleventh edition of the Top Legal Corporate Counsel Awards, one of the most prestigious and long-running events dedicated to company directors and managers.
There jury, composed of leading figures from the worlds of business and finance, awarded the Legal and Compliance Affairs Department of Autostrade per l’Italia for the support provided to the Mercury, Smart Sustainable Mobility Group Programme.
The award ceremony was attended by Amedeo Gagliardi, Chief Legal, Corporate Affairs and Procurement Officer of Autostrade per l’Italia, Julia MayerDirector of Legal Affairs and Compliance, Patricia Cutrupi, Head of Legal Consulting Operations and HSE, Laura MontanariHead of Legal Advice for Procurement and Joy VasintoniHead of Criminal Proceedings at the Legal and Compliance Affairs Department of Autostrade per l’Italia.
In particular, the Commission assessed the detailed regulatory analysis carried out by the Aspi management in the field of digitalization of infrastructure and the analytical investigations relating to the collection and exchange of information that exists between vehicles and highway infrastructure. Furthermore, the jury also recognized the merit of the research and studies relating to the legal profiles and potential legal implications linked to the launch and diffusion of self-driving cars.
With the Mercury program, Autostrade per l’Italia contemplates a new way of conceiving mobilitywhich projects highways into the future thanks to technological innovation and the interconnection between vehicles and infrastructures, considering roads, vehicles and users in a single interconnected space.

To the 2024 edition 185 companies and approximately 290 guests joined including General Counsel and legal officers, CFOs, Tax and HR Directors, Chief Compliance Officers, DPOs and fund managers. A total of 33 awards were assigned, including individual and team recognitions, divided into the Legal Team Awards, Individual Awards and Industry Team Awards categories.
