With the arrival of the June figures, the six-month average of the sales table in Turkey is now on the table. When we look at the data, we see that the passenger and light commercial vehicle market decreased by 9.3 percent on a total basis in the January-June 2022 period. It seems that a total of 357,904 vehicles were sold in this period in Turkey. When we look at the table over a single heading, there is a dynamic in which automobile sales were realized as 278,282 units and decreased by 10.3 percent compared to the same period of the previous year.

According to ODD data, the increase in automobile sales between June 2021 and June 2022 draws attention. In this context, the total of the passenger and light commercial vehicle market seems to have increased by 1 percent in June 2022. When we look at automobile sales in particular, we see that there are 2.9 percent more sales compared to the period of June 2021. It is noteworthy that 64,134 passenger cars were sold in Turkey in June 2022, which we consider in terms of total units. The increase in the figures draws attention in the 10-year average. Compared to the 10-year June average sales of ODD, we see a total market increase of 13.4%. Passenger vehicle sales under this heading are on the 14.9 percent increase curve compared to the 10-year average sales in June.
