(Finance) – The Minister of Enterprise and Made in Italy, Adolfo bearstated that “there are all the conditions for the transition agreement with Stellantisthe CEO shared the government points”. The meeting with Carlos Tavares the ministry “went better than expected” with the commitment to the goal of producing one million cars in Italy, the minister told SkyTg24 Economy. “The intention expressed by the CEO is to direct the development plan of the company on prospects in Italy towards an objective growth in production”, he added, underlining how “Italy cannot give up theautomotive industry but must invest more and better to compete”.
After yesterday’s meeting with Tavares, the minister – “in view of the finalization of the transition agreement between the Government and the company”, reads a note from the Ministry – convened the Mimit regional presidents where the Stellantis establishments, the secretaries are present confederates and gods metalworkers of Cgil, Cisl, Uil and Ugl and Anfia.
In particular, the July 24th it will be the turn of the confederal secretaries and the metalworkers of CGIL, CISL, UIL and Ugl while the July 26th the presidents of the Regions hosting the Stellantis establishments will be received. For the July 27th a meeting with Anfia, the national association of the Italian automotive supply chain, has instead been scheduled
