(Tiper Stock Exchange) – Reverse gear in private car registrations with VAT number: after the recovery recorded in 2021 with approx 179 thousand units, in 2022 registrations dropped to normal 163,094 down 8.7%.
The data, processed by UNRAE with Istat, show a smaller decline than the negative trend of private registrations in the same year (-15.6%), with an increase in the share of VAT numbers compared to the total number of private registrations, ascent from 19.4% in 2021 to 20.9% in 2022.
As for the preferences per the type of power supply, le hybrid cars sThey are firmly in first place among VAT numbers with 35.1%, gaining 5.4 points over 2021.
Petrol engines remain stable at 25.9% and diesel decreases to 21.4% (-4 pp). The electricsand they are at 4.3% and do better than the 2.7% of total private buyers.
