Authority to review Landerholm’s travels

Earlier, Dagens Nyheter revealed that Henrik Landerholm caused several security incidents. Aftonbladet has also been able to show that partly private trips to Berlin, where his special residence lived at the time, were paid for by taxpayers.

During his time as Director General of the Psychological Defense Agency (MPF) in 2022, the MPF paid for eight flights for Landerholm to or from Berlin. The trips cost a total of SEK 41,127.

For six of those trips, the authority cannot release any documentation explaining their purpose. It is also not possible to say whether the trips were made in the service or for private reasons, writes NWT.

“We have released the documents/travel bills that exist, we have not found any additional documents regarding ‘motives’ or the like,” MPF writes in an email to NWT.

The authority further writes that “MPF will go back and reassess the details of individual trips”.
