Only days after the devastating earthquake, criticism is now coming from both local and international experts against the fact that the authorities have more or less turned a blind eye to construction fraud and thus worsened the disaster in Turkey. A group of engineers, for example, is said to have raised the alarm about shortcomings in construction safety.
