Police investigate Wallaceburg break in

Chatham-Kent police are investigating the theft of a green 1999 Yamaha Timberwolf ATV, valued at $2,000 that was stolen from a Victoria Road property in Ridgetown sometime since Thursday.

Suspect sought in break-in

Chatham-Kent police are looking for an unknown male who entered the fenced compound of a business on King Street East in Chatham just before 10:20 pm Saturday.

Police report damage was done to the storage area door.

Breach of probation

A 31-year-old Chatham man was arrested after Chatham-Kent police officers were dispatched to a call about a suspicious person seen inside the Dollarama store on St. Clair Street in Chatham over the noon-hour on Saturday.

Police said the accused, who was under conditions not to be at the store, was arrested for breach of probation.

He was later released from custody with a short date.
