Being cold is among the unwanted body temperature changes like sweating. If you say that you feel cold no matter how thickly I dress, the reason for being cold may not be cold weather, but dangerous diseases. Many people have cholesterol but do not know they have it. The symptoms of cholesterol are ignored. Experts say that cold and foot pain can indicate cholesterol.
ATTENTION TO SYMPTOMS EXPERIENCED ON THE FEET
According to doctor Joseph Ambani, cold or cramped feet can be a sign of cholesterol. “High cholesterol can manifest in the feet. For example, a person may feel cramps while moving, but these cramps are relieved by rest. They can feel cold no matter the season. It doesn’t have to be on two feet. If you notice anything like this, I recommend seeking professional clarification immediately.”
MAY NOT HAVE A PULSE IN THE EXTREMELY
Dr Ambani said: “During the examination, a person with high cholesterol may not have a pulse in their feet and hands. Perhaps with the aid of a stethoscope, a doctor can notice unusual sounds, ‘murmurs’, especially in clogged arteries.”
DIFFERENCES CAN BE SEEN AROUND THE EYES
“High cholesterol can cause xanthelasma, small yellow fatty layers around the eyes. This mostly affects the upper eyelids and the eye area near the nose. If left unchecked, the problem can impair vision or, in worse cases, cause blindness.”
IT CAN CAUSE SERIOUS CONSEQUENCES IF NOT TREATED
If you have high cholesterol, it means you have too much of a fatty substance called cholesterol in your blood. If left untreated, it can cause blockages in blood vessels, which then becomes a major concern. It’s usually caused by lifestyle habits like eating too much fatty food and not getting enough exercise.
