Studies conducted in the USA have found that people with blood group A have a higher risk of early stroke and heart attack. Doctors said your risk increases if you have blood type A and are over 60. People with this blood have a 16 percent higher risk of early-onset stroke compared with other blood types AB, B or O. It was found that young people with O blood type, the most common blood type, were 12 percent less likely to have a stroke than those with other blood types.
